A bit about us

I have some exciting news I can finally share with you all! I want to introduce you to my new partner/owner of Vintage, Jessica Hultgren.  I met Jess in the middle of August and it didn't take us long to figure out we were a perfect fit. I honestly know she will love all of you as much as I do, and take good care of you.
As I reflect on the past 8 years, my heart fills with an unbelievable amount of love, gratitude and appreciation. Our community has given Vintage so much support, love, and kindness. I think of all the amazing people I have had the opportunity to connect with. These connections have led to many meaningful friendships that I hold near and dear to my heart.
When I created Vintage, I did so with intention: From the friendly greetings, warm atmosphere, to the comforting smell when you walk through the door. The ability to browse in peace, or the ability to connect in conversation. Having a place to get away from your busy day and have a relaxing and familiar place to 'just be'. I believe this is what Jessica fell in love with when first visiting Vintage in August.
Whether you stop in to say hello, or to simply browse to get inspired; picking up a pint or two of paint, grabbing one of our amazing candles. Maybe you stopped in to sign up for one of our many workshops, or you’re coming from out of town and this has become your place to stop, I thank you.
Thank you all for participating in the amazing success of Vintage. You have truly made the past 8 years not only memorable, but meaningful.
I know, that you will love Jessica as she is incredibly kind, caring, genuine, and giving. She is an experienced business owner, which I love! Not only does she understand what it takes to own and run a successful business, she is hard working, and has a love for customer service. I appreciate her deep rooted love for her family and community. This is the reason, I have chosen this partnership and new ownership for Vintage. I know that our community will embrace her just like you have embraced me.
What we have created at Vintage is not going anywhere. I have agreed to stay on as a business mentor to Jessica, and help out behind the scenes. Jessica will become the familiar face that gets to know you all, as I did. Vintage will remain to be everything you have come to expect and love. The exciting things to come are, more new local Canadian makers, more creative workshops, more pretty things, and the continued growth you have come to expect and anticipate. We have grown, learned and changed so much over the 8 years. We have curated to what you wanted to see more of and I'm looking forward to the next 8 years...
Jessica and I will be working side by side for the rest of the year. I am looking forward to seeing all of my beautiful people. I can't wait for you to meet Jessica if you haven't already met her over the past 2 months. She is just lovely😍😘❤️.
This new partnership/ownership will allow me to focus on some of the other things I love, like spending more time with my family, traveling, and preparing for my up and coming spring Northern Handmade Market. Also allowing myself some time of rest. I'm looking forward to have extra time to connect on tea and coffee dates, and further serve my community.
With warm gratitude,
~Natasha❤️
